About MI Right to Vote

Our Mission

MI Right to Vote was formed by veteran petition authors and circulators, with experience going back to the 1976 bottle deposit law. MI Right to Vote’s objective is to protect and preserve voting rights and voter’s rights to the initiative process. We are fortunate to be one of sixteen states that have the initiative and referendum. Such rights ensure that all political power is inherent to the people as set forth in Article I of Michigan’s 1963 Constitution. Our proposed Citizen Initiative Reform will eliminate loopholes and the use of dirty tricks which infringe on the full exercise of our rights of initiative.
